Welcome to the new home of the Catalina 36 International Association.
We are going to do what's called a soft launch and gradual migration from our old host to this one. From this point on, the new site will be the place to go for content (news, articles, classifieds, etc.). Over the next few months, I will be moving some of the more complex functions over including the store, membership directory and membership subscription. Until everything is complete, you can access this new site at http://www.c36ia.com; the old site remains at http://www.catalina36.org.
Why should you join C36IA? Below is a list of some of the many reasons for joining. Many consider joining the Association the best "investment" they have made in boating.
Already a member? How about printing a few copies of the flyer below, and give one to a C36 owner who is not yet a member? Leave one in their cockpit? Email one to them? We're sure they will thank you!

Allan Rex writes in with this upgrade for a cockpit table.
If anyone so desires and has some skill, they can build their own cockpit table using SS hardware from Edson. Attached are the schematics I used.
Some photos of the finished product can be viewed at Carina Upgrades.

After reading an article in one of the glossy sailing magazines a few years ago, I decided that I wanted to follow the author's advice and add a second, smaller bilge pump to Julandra. I wanted to minimize the amount of "backwash" that flowed back into the bilge after the pump turned off, and I wanted a smaller pump that would take care of the nuisance amounts of water in the bilge.
